The Old Chapel is a superb cottage in a peaceful hamlet hidden away in the secret little valley of Wensley Dale just beyond Matlock. Nestling among houses on the slopes of Oker Hill, the Chapel's light and airy rooms, glowing log burning stove, oatmeal carpets, quality furnishings and extensive equipment make this a wonderful holiday retreat.
You enter the cottage through a stone-flagged entrance hall with plenty of room for coats and boots. An attractive and spacious sitting room with luxurious furniture and drapes, log-burning stove, television and DVD player. There is a unique galleried reading area above the sitting room. A large dining room and kitchen of which the centre piece is the traditional 'Aga' style electric range. With pine table and chairs, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, automatic washer and tumbledryer then The Old Chapel is exceptionally well equipped. There is a lovely, airy double bedroom and a smaller twin bedroom with two single pine beds. Finally a bathroom with shower over and loo.
