There was an interesting article on the Daily Mail website yesterday which claims that people will pay up to £600,000 premiums to live in one of Britain's sought-after market towns.
Derbyshire has a number of popular market towns including Bakewell, Ashbourne and Chesterfield and we have to agree that certainly in Bakewell in recent months we have seen an increase in activity in the market with some properties going to best and final bids and selling well in excess of the guide price. Perhaps the article is right.................
